The TSVC Endowment Fund was established in 2002, with a mandate to secure the future of the Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee and help maintain the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's extensive music education programs. Donations can be directed specifically for the use of education. Proceeds of this fund are also used to support the TSO's musicians, commission new music and sustain the operating costs of the orchestra.
Managed by the Toronto Community Foundation, earned income from the TSVC Endowment Fund helps to secure the financial future of the Toronto Symphony Volunteer Committee, and offers you the opportunity to support our fine musicians, commission thrilling new music, and sustain a great artistic tradition.
Donations in Honour of a Milestone Event
Donations large and small can be made in "Honour of" or "In Memory of" of a family member or friend. Gifts may also be made anonymously. A beautiful Gold Note Card, designed by Christina Ronald, professionally written with your sentiment will be sent to a recipient of your choice and acknowledged throughout TSVC publications. Donations of $20 and over will receive tax receipts. We accept payment by cheque, Visa, MasterCard or Amex. Proceeds raised support live performances of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Planned Giving
A planned gift is best made with the counsel of your trusted financial and legal advisors. Donors receive a tax receipt and acknowledgement throughout TSVC publications and selected TSO programs in perpetuity. Proceeds from these donations are directed to the TSVC Endowment Fund, which provides ongoing income in support of the TSVC and its educational programs.
Leave a Bequest
Your confidential, charitable gift may be made directly, or through a will or life insurance policy. In addition to the personal satisfaction of philanthropic giving, gifts of various kinds result in tax advantages. Simply ask your lawyer to include a line in your will specifying the amount of your donation to the TSVC.
